We hope you all enjoyed your break and are looking forward to an exciting 2023.  The weather has been kind to us for the start of the year, and Dipadees has been very busy!  

Starlight Super Swim
Dipadees Swim School has registered for the Starlight Super Swim.
Swim for sick kids from the 1st - 28th February.  
If you or your child would like to participate in this challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Race Night
Our next Race Night will be held on Friday 10th February, starting at 6pm.  We have 25m, 50m and 100m swims and also lots of fun.  The price is $5.00 per swimmer including a sausage from the BBQ and if you would like an extra sausage it is $2.50.  A great family evening!  The race night is scheduled every fortnight.

Make-up Tokens

Provided your fees are up to date we will provide you with a complimentary make-up token to replace your missed lesson. You can book your make-up lessons by simply logging into your customer portal. Then follow the prompts to book your class. We will provide up to 15 complimentary make-up tokens per child per calendar year.
Make-up lessons cannot be used as credits for future lessons or for lessons after you cancel.
Make-up lessons are only provided if you are booked into lessons and fees are up to date.

What is the funniest experience you have had while at work?
Watching Jenny try to make her own coffee is always quite entertaining! 
Describe one of your favourite memories at Dipadees?
I remember how lovely and patient all of the customers were to me when I was just starting in reception. 
What are you studying?
A dual degree of math and secondary education at UQ. 
What was your first job?
This one! But I also starting tutoring high school students around the same time. 
Where are you from?
About 10 minutes down the road.

Do you have any hobbies?
Reading, gym, and playing with my dog. 
Can you play any instruments? 
I played piano for nearly 10 years, and I can play a bit of guitar.  ​

Level Profile - "Arms"

​I'm 4 years or older and have mastered my Rockets.  I can kick on the surface with my face in for several meters using long legs and fast kicks.
I will be learning to move my freestyle arms efficiently in a slow and controlled manner (rather than the common "splash and dash" used by many learners).  
​My kicking skills will continue to improve and I will increase the distance I can kick on my back.
