Meet Jing Li

Jing Li has a long and successful career in managing performance-based swimming schools in Victoria. From a young age Jing was a competitive swimmer, and won many titles during her professional swimming days.
She started her career in 2008 and has now expanded her schools with over 50 staff, and over 3000 members Students Ranging from infant to adult across Australia., Jing has trained many swimmers especially from 7-15 years old, and has helped them gain many awards, trophies and medals, including five swimmers who won in the Victoria State Championships in 2022. Her aspiration is to have the same achievement levels (or higher) for Dipadees members. Jing took over Dipadees Swim School from founder Barb Nolan in 2022. Jing's philosophy is that physical activeness is an important developmental aspect for children. It improves brain health, mental alertness, strengthen bones and muscles and improves their ability to manage everyday tasks. After attending for a few months with our 14 month old, it was great that in the past two weeks the lesson seemed to progress a little. The early years

In 1989 a junior Learn-To-Swim Program was developed in Queensland. The program had a strong emphasis on quality, with well trained teachers and a fun approach to learning. This is the hallmark of the Dipadees program today.
With imagination, a good understanding of early childhood development, and an excellent knowledge of the skill of swimming, the program provides an exciting and successful way for babies and children to learn. Dipadees founder Barbara Nolan has extensive learn-to-swim experience. Her belief in using a fun and caring approach, supports the belief that we all have a greater capacity to learn when we relax and enjoy ourselves. Barbara views aquatic programs around the world to ensure Dipadees remains a world class program. She is a Swim Australia lecturer and presents to swim teachers on both a national and international platform. Barbara also ensure the Dipadees teachers receive world class and ongoing swim teacher professional development. Barbara is a recipient of the Swim Australia Meritorious Services to the teaching of swimming and has been inducted into the Australian Swim Schools Association Hall of Fame for her outstanding contribution to learn to swim.
