I'm Vanessa, yoga teacher and mum of 2. I've been teaching both adult and kids yoga classes around Australia for a couple of years now, and am excited to bring my teachings to Dipadees. For me yoga is a lot more than simply breathing. It is a total mind, body and soul experience. Yoga as a workout focuses not only on strengthening and stretching the body, but relaxing and calming the mind, moving between postures, breathing and meditation techniques. There are so many wonderful health benefits yoga has been proven to give including increasing levels of energy and vitality, for all ages, improving cardio and circulatory health and leaving you with a sense of peace, rejuvenation and stamina after each class. My adult classes will include a variety of poses, something for everyone, from beginners to the more advanced yogi. Beginner poses, power flow workout movements and also relaxation for the busy minds out there, will all be included. My kids yoga will use techniques designed for your little and bigger ones to increase their body balance, connection and awareness, coordination, confidence and self esteem through play and improvisation techniques. Kids yoga is a non-competitive environment, where children can be themselves, using and exploring through imaginative movement, variety of props and breathing techniques to help relieve and cope with stress, slow down, improve concentration and feel healthy, whilst having a whole lot of fun!
